Very nice and family friendly.
Smallest YMCA in this country. Can hardly ever swim(main reason we got the family membership because my 6 year old daughter absolutely adores swimming). If you refer to the pool schedule they post in the building you'll be surprised each and every time that they have another class coming within a half an hour at most (in my experience of course) many times we didn't even make it in to the water before we were told there is a class coming and we aren't allowed in the water during any class (except for the Olympic style lap section that they have up, that only one person at a time is allowed in). If you call ahead and ask the kids at the desk they'll tell you to refer to the schedule and provide you with just as much wrong information as the schedule (even though the info they provide doesn't pair up with the schedule posted about the swim times it's still false).... Then there's canceling your membership. We had a family tragedy I called early in the month and canceled my membership, they tell me I'll still have another charge to my bank account I ask to have it pushed back until after I get paid (4 days after my actual payment date), I was told to call back. . . I do many , many times and once I was even able to talk to the woman in charge of billing so that was nice... she assured me that there was no need to push it back because I canceled our membership so early in the month. I thank her repeatedly because it was the first bit of good news in days... of course that didn't happen and I have yet to receive a call back about it from them... oh, and the women in charge of child care will tell you every dirty piece of gossip they can get their claws on (not being from this area I don't really know anyone but I was told about every nasty thing about the parents that were utilizing the child care services that day)... long story short buy some equipment, work out in a busy closet and don't allow yourself to use over half of the equipment you paid for if you want the waverly YMCA experience.

Pool had a wonderful entrance with a good water temperature. Lifeguard was not paying attention to what was going on. No rest breaks were called, but luckily all children had adults in the pool with them.
I go once a week for soccer games and it's good
